It stops us feeling fit, healthy and confident and all Bigfoot members know through our own injury experiences that getting positive results quickly is crucial.

Monique is a member of Podiatry New Zealand and is actively involved in continuing education.  Being aware of new research helps us develop our knowledge and enables us to provide the best solution to pain as fast as possible.  Monique was involved with the AUT Podiatry School in its inception year as a Clinical Educator and now houses students within the practice to foster learning.

High performance athletes provide big challenges to health providers because being injured affects their sporting dreams and even earning potential.  Monique consults to New Zealand Triathlon athletes, New Zealand Cycling and New Zealand Athletics.  She is currently involved in developing a gait screening system that closely analyses our top runners and triathletes to increase their performance and manage injury, and is working with our cyclists to see how orthotics and bike set up can enhance their performance.
